This is not a ranked list. I did not run twelve blades down a test pane. The decision is operational: one squeegee for the glass-door houses already on the book — not a matching set for a house that is tile only.
If next week’s book has no glass doors, this is not a buy. A hard plastic scraper is not a squeegee. A 4-pack of colors is not a restock for one person.
What to look for
Name the type. Ignore the color of the pack in the listing photo.
1. A 10–12 inch blade that still flexes
The working part is rubber that still bends. A hard plastic scraper is not a squeegee. If the blade is stiff, cracked, or dried into a ridge, it streaks glass and you replace it. Do not restock a gadget handle because the listing photo looked chrome.
2. A hook or hole so it hangs in the caddy
Carry it with you. A suction cup you will leave on a client door is how the squeegee becomes theirs, then you buy another. A hook or a hole in the handle is enough. Do not restock a suction-mount set because the aisle called it “shower.”
3. One in the caddy, one spare blade or one spare unit — par 1 working
One person, one working squeegee. A spare blade, or one spare unit, is the restock. Do not buy a 4-pack of colors for one person. Unit price on a bundled set is not a restock win if three of them live in the trunk.
4. Skip the aisle if next week’s book has no glass doors
This is not a weekly burn. Count the glass-door houses, not how many showers you wipe. Tile-only weeks do not consume a blade. If the book next week is tile, the squeegee stays in the closet and you skip the aisle.
5. Keep it on the supply tab as a par, not a forever raise
Put “shower squeegee, par 1, glass-door houses only” on the supply tab. Raise it only if a known extra glass-door house lands on the book, then it is still par 1 working plus a spare. Do not raise par to a 4-pack because one Saturday the blade dried out.

What to skip
- A window-washing kit. That is a different job. A shower squeegee is one blade for glass doors on the book, not a pole, a bucket, and three heads.
- A steam mop because glass spotted. Spot is a blade or a wipe. Steam is a floor tool. Do not buy a mop to fix a shower door.
- Leaving the squeegee at the house as a “gift.” Then you do not have one in the caddy. Carry it. Hang it. Take it.
- Buying four because they were bundled. You need one working. The other three colors are trunk clutter.
- Changing shower chemical because the blade dried out. A dried blade is a blade problem. It is not a reason to change the mix.
Sunday-cap note
If the blade still flexes and next week is tile, skip. Spend the cap on gloves or bags. Do not count a 4-pack of colors as inventory, and do not count a suction cup left on a client door as the one in the caddy.
The Recurring Clean Book supply tab can hold “shower squeegee, par 1, glass-door houses only.” Raise it only for a known extra glass-door house. Do not change the number forever because of one Saturday.
